CNH Industrial Lakeside Facility

Hunzinger Construction Company served as the General Contractor for CNH Industrial’s Lakeside Facility project that involved renovating 50,000 SF of existing buildings and 50,000 SF of new additions to service the new tractor test facility. This project was precipitated by the relocation of their Burr Ridge facility in Illinois to the Racine location. The location was owned by CNH but was inactive for many years. The hyper-accelerated schedule had to accommodate the owner’s use of priority test cells 4 months ahead of the project’s overall completion. Existing metal buildings could not accommodate the new rooftop units, so a series of elevated mechanical platforms were installed from the floor through the roof to support what is needed to condition and service the renovated spaces. A unique project for Hunzinger, but nothing we haven’t successfully managed many times.
