BLUEMOUND CORPORATE PARK PHASE I - EMBEDTEK

Bluemound Corporate Park Phase 1 is located at N7W23700 Bluemound Road in Waukesha, WI. Hunzinger Construction Company was engaged as a self-performing Construction Manager to build a new 100,000 SF, one story precast multi-tenant commercial office shell.  Interstate Partners, LLC was the developer on this new building that was designed by Eppstein Uhen Architects.

EmbedTek has grown significantly in the last 5 years and chose relocate to this new building and occupy 50,000 SF. EmbedTek, is a technology company that offers client companies the unique opportunity to focus on their core business by providing complex embedded computers and integrated displays for their products. Eppstein Uhen Architects based in Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward are the designers of this multi-use commercial/light industrial building.

Hunzinger was the self-performing construction manager of the project which is actually located in the flight path for Waukesha County Airport which meant applications to and approvals by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) were needed before construction began. Hunzinger coordinated the application process to meet the stringent FAA requirements and procured their variance and necessary permitting required.

The MEP’s were all Design/Build with Lemberg Electric and Total Mechanical providing HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection services.

An additional 30,000 SF of the building was leased to Precision Cabling Assemblies, a supplier of wire harnesses, battery cables, and custom wiring solutions. Founded in 1980, the company has evolved to be the premier power distribution solutions provider in the wire harness industry.
