Hunzinger Hires 2 New Safety Coordinators and Expands Safety Team – Welcome Alex Trusky and Bob Krien
Hunzinger is excited to welcome Alex Trusky to our Safety Team as Safety Coordinator on the Komatsu South Harbor Campus Project. Alex comes to us after spending 4 years as a Safety Engineer at Clark Construction Group, working out of their Chicago office. He is a graduate of UW-Whitewater and has a B.S. degree in Occupational & Environmental Health and Safety. Alex’s past construction industry experience also includes a couple years at Michels Corporation based in Brownsville, WI where he worked as a Safety Coordinator right after graduating college. Alex holds numerous safety certifications including OSHA 10 ET & D, OHSA 510 and OSHA 500. He is a First Aid & CPR Trainer, holds Trenching, Confined Space and Excavation Competent Person Certifications and EM 385-1-1 40HR, CHST and STSC. When he is not at work, Alex enjoys spending time with his wife and young children.
Bob Krien also joined Hunzinger as a Safety Coordinator. He is working with our team building two new warehouses for Uline in Kenosha. After a full and rewarding 23 year career as a mason, Bob decided to pursue a career in safety. He began his studies at Gateway Technical College and moved onto the University of Wisconsin -Whitewater where he earned a B.S. in Occupational & Environmental Health and Safety. During his studies at UW-W Bob served a 3-month internship with the Milwaukee OSHA office, as well as, a 9-month internship with WE Energies; graduating UW-W Magna Cum Laude. Since graduating, Bob worked 3 years for Jones Lang LaSalle as a Safety Manager for SC Johnson in Racine. Bob recently completed work at Industrial Service Solutions (d.b.a. Industrial Construction and Associates) where his work supported 22 additional companies nationwide. In addition, he served as a short-term Safety Coordinator for The Morse Group during construction of one of the Foxconn projects. Bob also holds numerous certifications including OSHA 30, OSHA 510, OSHA 7845, Fall Protection Competent Person, Train the Trainer for Rigging Fundamentals and Confined Space EAS Competent Person.
Bob will be going on 34 years of marriage in October and in his off-time he enjoys sharing time with his daughter and 2 sons, along with7 grandchildren, with another one more due in December and 3 dogs. He is also an avid outdoorsman, enjoying pretty much anything to do with the outdoors.
