At the MLB’s All-Star Break Hunzinger’s recent projects are a hit with the fans. The long lines at J. Leinenkugel’s Barrel Yard on game days are an indication of that success. The Barrel Yard is a new one-of-a-kind restaurant and Brewery overlooking left field at American Family Field. The working brewery features specialty beer brewed on site by Leinenkugel’s Master Brewers. The Barrel Yard is open year-round and is open daily from 11-AM-9PM. There are special hours for gameday evening games when The Barrel Yard is open for lunch from 11AM-2PM. On days with afternoon games, The Barrel Yard is open to ticketed guests.
Hunzinger served as General Contractor for this new restaurant/brewery that previously was home to Friday’s and most recently, The Restaurant to Be Named Later. This 11,621 SF renovation was completed in the Milwaukee Brewers 2022-2023 off season and was completed within 20 weeks. The Barrel Yard was designed by Ramlow Stein Architects and 360 Architects. Hunzinger self-performed selective demolition and all rough and finish carpentry.
Hunzinger is extremely proud of our long-standing relationship with The Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club and all the work we have completed in the stadium since building Miller Park and through the transition to American Family Field.
