Meagan DeGroot has joined Hunzinger as an Assistant Project Manager. She comes to Hunzinger Construction after working for the past 3 years at Pepper Construction’s Milwaukee office as a Project Engineer where she provided management support for tenant improvement projects for CBRE Milwaukee Corporate Office, Old Republic Surety Company, Advocate Aurora Oak Creek Orthopedics and Sports Rehab Center. Prior to Pepper, she worked at JP Cullen as a Project Coordinator for a couple of years.

Born and raised in Racine, Meagan earned a degree in Sport Management from the University of Wisconsin – Parkside. This degree led her to coaching at the Olympic Development level for Wisconsin and US Soccer and the analytical and team management skills she gained during her coaching career have been instrumental in her construction professional journey. She is enthusiastic about joining Hunzinger and will be working on the Milwaukee Rep Theater renovation project led by Vice President Project Executive Jon Jansen, Senior Project Manager Jon Sheahan and Superintendent Dan VonRueden. New APM Matt Janecke rounds out the PM team and is no longer the newbie, thanks to Meagan!

Meagan doesn’t have a lot of “spare time” because she has a 5-month-old daughter that keeps her busy when she is away from work.

Welcome Meagan!
