Progressive Community Health Centers Lisbon Avenue Health Clinic is located at 3522 W. Lisbon Avenue. Hunzinger is serving as Design-Builder for the 3,500 SF renovation of (2) adjacent suites in the lower level of the existing PCHC clinic building.
Area 1 is the conversion of a Radiology Department into a new Podiatry Services Center with three exam rooms, X-ray area, provider work space and consultation offices.
Area 2 is the conversion of a records storage area into expanded Family Clinical Practice and Internal Medicine Services for the facility. In addition to six exam rooms, the suite features multiple provider work spaces, offices, restrooms and storage spaces.
The project is on track for completion in Fall 2022 with a fast-tracked delivery construction duration of only 13-weeks.
The project is being supported with Federal grants from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) and American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).
Diversity and Inclusion goals for the project include a minimum 25% MWSBE participation and at least 40% of the construction labor being provided by City of Milwaukee residents.
