Milwaukee Repertory Theater Stackner Cabaret is located at 108 E Wells Street in downtown Milwaukee. Hunzinger Construction Company served as Construction Manager Advisor for the 6,600 SF project. Uihlein Wilson Ramlow Stein Architects designed this interior refresh to the lobby which included new carpeting, new wood panel ceiling, marque lighting, lounge seating, a new video screen and a new mobile bar.
The theater increased it’s seating capacity by 35% and gained better site lines as columns were removed. Along with new carpeting and a fresh coat of paint, new acoustic cloud panels were added on the ceiling for improved sound quality. The main bar and bathrooms were relocated. In addition, the commercial kitchen added all new appliances as well as a new layout to provide greater comfort and convenience for the increase number of patrons.
