Improv Comedy Club – The Corners of Brookfield: Improv is located at 21111 West Bluemound Road in Brookfield, WI. Hunzinger Construction Company served as the General Contractor for the 13,100 SF interior build out of the 430 seat capacity flexible theater space comprised of one small theater, a second larger theater, and a movable wall that allows for one larger venue. The spacious lobby features a full service bar. The Improv also has a commercial kitchen and additional full bar to serve all theater attendees. The big theater has 3 tiers of built-in booths with tables for additional flexible seating. While the project’s interior is mostly black, the interesting lighting and signage offers a delight for the eyes throughout. The project was designed by Madison Maher Architects. Hunzinger crews self-performed concrete and rough and finish carpentry for the project that was completed in just 6 months.
