Hunzinger served as Construction Manager/General Contractor for GEA’s new office, and training facility in Janesville, WI. The new 86,000 SF building includes office space and a training center for customers and employees, a repair shop for mechanical equipment and loading docks with additional office space to service logistics. The new facility features numerous measures to make it a net-zero facility including a high efficiency heating and cooling system, solar panels, LED lighting, electric car charging stations, recycling, and water reuse possibilities.
Hunzinger self-performed the site concrete, footings and foundations, rough and finish carpentry, and general labor. Zimmerman Architectural Studios, Inc. are the designers with Harwood Engineers as the engineering consultants.
