During the long Miller Park/American Family Field hiatus throughout the Covid-19 Pandemic, the Milwaukee Brewers took the opportunity to complete a couple of projects to enhance the fan experience. In addition to the signage and naming transformation to American Family Field, Hunzinger Construction Company completed The Miller Lite Landing and Bernie’s Chalet projects.

The Miller Lite Landing is the perfect spot to catch a game with your Crew! The Ramlow Stein Architects designed project created a roomy 3,600 SF patio-like space that offers a sweeping view of the ball diamond from above, encased by the left-center field wall featuring a full-service bar, refrigerated drink rails, cell-phone charging stations, large format high-definition TV’s and a monumental seven-foot Brewers logo constructed out of Miller Lite cans. The upper tier includes a new trellis with Brewers branded awnings, pub like tables. The lower tier features fixed half-moon tables with loose seating for the avid Brewers fans.

Bernie’s Chalet is Bernie Brewers’ new home that experienced a major “retro-renovation” this last off-season. Bernie’s dugout was transformed back into a Chalet reminiscent of his old County Stadium home. The fast-tracked construction project sits perched nearly 100-feet above the ball field and includes a new red American Family Insurance roof, new internally and externally illuminated signage above and beneath the chalet and a new sweeping 26-foot tall and 75-foot long slide. After every home run, Bernie slides into a new landing that boasts a very a large curved LED display. This “new” chalet harkens back to the earliest days of the Brew Crew coming to Milwaukee and celebrates the great tradition of Major League Baseball in Milwaukee.
