Expansion of Ace Precision Machining is located at 977 Blue Ribbon Circle North in Oconomowoc, WI in the Pabst Farms Development. Hunzinger Construction Company was originally hired as Construction Manager for this 110,000 SF manufacturing and office facility that was designed by Stephen Perry Smith Architects.

The same team recently completed a 10,000 SF expansion to Ace Precision expansion that features precast exterior wall panels in the manufacturing area completed in just 5 months.

The original 120,000 SF building design featured precast exterior wall panels in the manufacturing area and a stone exterior skin panel with limestone accent columns in the two-story office area. Maximum flexibility for future equipment and operations were designed into the facility. Overhead electrical distribution and additional steel to accommodate an overhead crane were also included in the building infrastructure.

When originally built, the design called for maximum flexibility for future equipment and operations making this expansion seamless. Stephen Perry Smith Architects once again served as project designers with R. A. Smith as engineers. Hunzinger self-performed demolition, concrete, masonry and all carpentry work. The now 120,000 SF facility houses a full range of equipment including axis laser cutting, vacuum brazing, hydro forming, turning, machining, resistance and TIG welding, heat treating, sheet metal fabricating, and thermal barrier coating. Ace Precision is more than just a machining company, it serves some of the best and most demanding customers in the Aerospace, Power Generation, and Defense industries.

“I really enjoyed working with the Hunzinger team again! It’s always gratifying to have a project go so well that when the owner feels it’s time to expand, you just get a call, make a call, and get to work. We work seamlessly and successfully with Hunzinger and together we strive to make clients so happy, they don’t have reason to look to anyone else to get their building built. Hunzinger always brings my vision to reality in a cost effective way that features incredibly high quality workmanship.”
