It may be as simple as a “Lunch & Learn” on the most recent code changes or a class may be conducted by one of our affiliated professionals in risk management, insurance, or construction accounting.

Our “Safety First” attitude is present throughout the company. Hunzinger also conducts frequent safety based training through Hunzinger Construction University. Our Safety Incentive Program rewards employees with Hunzi-Bucks for attending all the safety training courses offered by our Safety Department. As a result of our commitment to aggressive safety training, our EMR rating is one of the lowest in the industry.

HOW WE RETAIN THE BEST
Hunzinger is a 4th generation, family and employee-owned business that is deeply rooted in tradition. Many of Hunzinger’s employees are second and even third-generation employees. This trend has provided Hunzinger with a level of craftsmanship, stability, and employee longevity that creates a positive culture. Each year at Hunzinger, we search for and celebrate excellence. The search begins with a company-wide call for nominations of our co-workers, subcontractors, vendors/suppliers, and clients. We do this at our annual Q3 (Q-cubed) Awards Celebration, named for our 3-point Quality Program at Hunzinger.
