Hunzinger served as the General Contractor for the multiple phase renovation of Foley & Lardner LLP’s office space within the US Bank Center in downtown Milwaukee. The massive renovation included over 165,000 SF on 8 different floors in the fully occupied offices.  To accommodate the 400+ employees, construction occurred over the course of 6 phases which allowed for temporary relocation of Foley’s staff during construction.  The 26,000 SF floorplates were similar in that each floor contained perimeter private offices / conference rooms, open office space throughout the core with complete updates to elevator vestibules, break rooms, and restrooms.  The 40th floor is the top floor of the building and the showcase space that houses their conference center and client facing areas.

Hunzinger self-performed selective demolition, rough and finish carpentry, and the installation of the D-hive furniture wall system on the7th floor. Eppstein Uhen Architects served as project designers with Staff Electric Co. and Grunau Co. providing design-assist and serving as our MEP’s contractors. Despite the Covid-19 Pandemic and the resulting supply chain challenges and accompanying material delays, the substantial completion date was maintained.
