Building The Future Together

COMMUNITY

At Hunzinger, we firmly believe that it is our charge to be an active community partner with organizations whose mission is to help others.

We have developed a robust community outreach program of support and encourage all of our employees to seek opportunities that share our passion. Being actively involved in our community provides everyone at Hunzinger Construction Company the opportunity to be thankful for what we have and an opportunity to give back. In keeping with our driving value proposition “Do the right thing”, here are some of the organizations that we are proud to support.

Executive Involvement

John Hunzinger, President, P.E has served on numerous not-for-profit and community-based organizations including the Make-a-Wish Foundation, Zink the Zebra Foundation, Wheaton Franciscan/Covenant Healthcare Board, Marquette University Construction Management Advisory Board, Milwaukee School of Engineering Corporate Board, and the Safe and Sound Advisory Board. John currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Milwaukee Repertory Theater.

Jim Hunzinger, Executive Vice President has also served on a number of community not for profit boards.  Currently, Jim is on the Lad Lake Board of Directors, an organization that works to “guide growth” of troubled youth and INHABIT, a Christian based, not-for-profit that encourages people to “live into community.”

Executive Vice President, Kevin O’Toole’s leadership skills led to his appointment and service on numerous not-for-profit and community-based organizations including the St. Coletta of Wisconsin Board of Directors and Finance Committee as well as several positions with the Make-a-Wish Foundation, where he recently completed a 5-year term on the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America’s National Board of Directors. Kevin also sat on the National Board of Directors for Musicians on Call  based in New York City.
