The Old Republic Risk Management (ORRM) is located at 445 West Moorland Road, Suite 300, Brookfield, WI. Hunzinger Construction Company was selected to serve as general contractor for ORRM’s 10,968 SF office renovation. This extensive renovation was completed in a fully occupied environment. The project included renovations on three floors of the Old Republic Risk Management Offices. The construction was completed in multiple phases to accommodate workers and minimize disruption. Zimmerman Architectural Studios of Milwaukee served as the project architect. ORPM provides primary casualty insurance products to large corporate and group customers who desire to retain risk through the use of large deductibles, self-insurance and captive reinsurance mechanisms. Along with unbundled claims handling services. Their insurance programs are underwritten through Old Republic Insurance Company (ORINSCO) and ORRM is a wholly owned subsidiary of Old Republic International, one of the country’s largest and strongest publicly held insurance corporations.

This project required working quietly since all that separated our construction crews from their office workers was a thin sheet of plastic Visqueen. We scheduled deliveries in the early mornings or during off hours. We performed some of the work on 2nd and 3rd shifts and phased the project to minimize interruptions. We actually brought in materials through a 3rd story window to be more efficient with our time and to lessen the noise and mess. In the end, Old Republic was able to function at 100% throughout our construction work and they were very pleased with the end product.
