KOMATSU SOUTH HARBOR CAMPUS

Komatsu South Harbor Campus Office Building and Parking Deck: Hunzinger served as Construction Manager/General Contractor for Komatsu’s waterfront headquarters, in Milwaukee’s Harbor District.  The project sits on a 57-acre brownfield site redevelopment and includes a new 180,000 SF office and experience center and a 650 car parking structure. The project was designed and built to green building standards with the goal to reduce energy consumption by 75% and the reduce water consumption by 80%. The project achieved a LEED V4 Gold Certification by the U.S. Green Building Council. Eppstein Uhen Architects (EUA) headed up the design team which included GRAEF as the engineering firm. The office and parking deck were complete for occupancy by the end of 2021.
