HRH of Wisconsin / Willis 6th Floor Remodel is located at 2323 N. Mayfair Road in Wauwatosa, WI and is an insurance broker of property and casualty products offered through Willis: Global Insurance Broker. Hunzinger Construction Company was hired to serve as general contractor for this 5,000 SF office remodel to suit the new tenant’s requirements. Woods-Associates, Inc. of Brookfield, WI were the project designers.

This commercial interior remodel project included the demolition of existing offices and multiple workstations throughout the 6th floor. Since the work took place in an occupied building, much of the noisier and messier work took place over 2nd shift with our workers arriving around 4 PM as many of the office tower workers were leaving for the day. Our crews completed the all the rough and finish carpentry work. New mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems were installed in this fast-tracked project that took place over six weeks.

This project’s challenge was that the building was occupied and the space had to be done in six weeks so that the tenant could get their reception and lobby area back. Most of the work was completed on 2nd shift because we had to demo the existing office space, which produced a lot of noise and filled a lot of dumpsters and would have been too disruptive to the other tenants of the office tower. The finishes were very stylish with the millwork being particularly high end. For me, it was very satisfying to meet the owner’s aggressive deadline. It is gratifying to accomplish something that others just don’t think can get done.
