Harley-Davidson Motor Company Corporate Headquarters located at 3700 West Juneau Avenue in Milwaukee, WI is the site where the first motorcycle was built in 1903 in the backyard of the William C. Davidson family home. In 1994, this property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Today these corporate headquarters spread over 4 city blocks and encompass 480,000 SF. We have performed as construction manager and contractor for multiple commercial renovation and addition projects since 1997. Both Kubala Washatko Architects and Michael Garber Architecture have served as designers.

Recent projects on the campus include the renovation of eight floors of corporate facilities. This extensive remodel included offices, conference and design rooms and training facilities, all with specialized lighting fixtures and grid wall paneling designed around historical elements within the building. Custom finishes adorn the space including walls that were stained to complement existing brick walls within the facility. We also built a 72 foot long, 8 feet wide and 12 feet tall pedestrian skywalk that bridges the fifth floors of Building A1 and Building 11. Other projects undertaken during the multi-phased renovation included window and skylight replacements, exterior masonry, tuck-pointing and restoration, and plant services space renovations to greatly improve functionality.

To me, the relationship is best thing about working with Harley-Davidson.  They really like to have fun but they take their work very seriously.  They let you do your job without micro-managing and they trust us to be their professional builder.

Our relationship with H-D Juneau is special to me because it was my first true client where I was a Project Manager on my own.   I started out as an Assistant Project Manager on the 3800/3900 building renovation project while it was in preconstruction in 1997 and after the Senior PM on the project took a job out of town, I was promoted to serving alone as the PM on these projects and was pleasantly surprised to hear that Harley- Davidson was open to have me work in that capacity.  Keep in mind that these were big time projects we were involved in down at Juneau and I was a pretty young.  For Harley-Davidson to show that much trust in me, inspired me to be the best Project Manager I could be and it really cemented my career path.

Seventeen years and a many multiple projects later, our relationship has been built on a track record of being able to deliver the quality they require, within the time they need it, for a good price.  For the trust and faith and opportunity, I will always be truly grateful.
