G.E. HEALTHCARE MR SIGNA TRAINING FACILITY

G.E. Healthcare is located at N16 W22419 Watertown Road, Waukesha, WI. Hunzinger served as both General Contractor and Construction Manager for this interior renovation. Eppstein Uhen Architects served as the project architects.

The 1,500 sq. ft. interior renovation included retrofitting an existing data center into a new MR training facility for GE’s new Signa Premier MRI system. We self-performed all concrete, carpentry and demolition work within the space.

Signa Premier is the result of a four-year collaboration with the National Football League (NFL) and research institutions around the world working to design new imaging tools. The new MRI system delivers a high performance with research-focused clinical capabilities designed particularly for neurological and oncology research and clinical work.
