Bayshore Renovation

For Over 15 years, Hunzinger has served as Design-Builder, Construction Manager and General Contractor for the Public/Private Partnership that redeveloped the 1958 Bayshore Mall into the 47-Acre, 13-building, 1.1 Million SF Mixed-Use Bayshore Town Center.

Most recently, Hunzinger was back on site continuing the renovation efforts for Cypress Equities by re-purposing the north and east segments of land formerly occupied by Sears, Boston Store and the original covered mall. The 2019-2021 site plan modernization efforts included the major demolition of covered mall buildings, re-purposing the two anchor stores for Total Wine and Target, a new Town Square called The Yard, a public interior Rotunda space and parcels for new Restaurant, Hospitality and Multi-Family Residential uses.
