The Hunzinger staff including John and Jim Hunzinger and Kevin O’Toole joined our friends at Make-A-Wish Wisconsin for the grand opening celebration of their new offices now located at 11020 West Plank Court in Wauwatosa, WI. Make-A-Wish Wisconsin’s mission is to grant wishes to children with life threatening medical condition and since its founding in 1984, more than 5,500 children and their families throughout the state have experienced the transformative power of a wish. This year, Make-A-Wish Wisconsin is on pace to grant a record-breaking 365 wishes – a wish a day!
To make this happen, they needed to find a new office to support their growing staff. Hunzinger’s Director of Business Development Frank Falsetti led the effort to guide them through a months’ long search and planning process that resulted in the identification of the West Plank Court site. Once the site was selected, EUA finalized the design and M&M Office Interiors completed the interior design and the space planning and provided all the furniture for the space.
Hunzinger served as self-performing construction manager for this new 10,000 SF interior office build out that was completely rebuilt in a little over two months. Ryan O’Toole who heads up our Interiors Division has been a Make-A-Wish volunteer for almost 15 years was the Project Manager. Hunzinger self-performed selective demolition, rough and finish carpentry, masonry and concrete work.
