Building The Future Together

On Friday night, December 18th, Hunzinger Construction Company held its annual holiday party for employees and their families and a great time was had by all. The party was held at our Hunzinger Construction University Building (affectionately known as H2).

All were welcome and both field and office staff enjoyed a delicious dinner of shredded barbeque chicken and Italian beef, herb mashed potatoes, homemade macaroni and cheese, roasted carrots and corn, and Caesar salad. Many participated in a cookie exchange that was both fun and tasty. There was a Hot Chocolate Bar hosted by Joyce Hunzinger who once again proved to be a wonderful and efficient “mixer” of coffee and cocoa drinks.

Santa came for a visit and had lots of little ones share their Christmas lists and wishes with him. He gifted them all magical reindeer food, special chocolate bars and almost all of them promised to be extra good until Christmas! Once they had visited with the big man, there were plenty of games and crafts to keep them busy and entertained.   As part of the holiday party, Hunzinger held a Toys for Tots drive, collecting dozens of toys that were brought in by employees on Friday night

“It was a great party and it is particularly meaningful for us to have our employee’s families come together to celebrate the holiday season and thank them for their continued dedication to Hunzinger Construction Company. It truly has been memorable year for us as we celebrated our 109th year in business and were honored to receive a Best Project Award from ENR magazine for our Johnson Controls Hawley Road Facility project and we saw the successful completion of major projects at The Milwaukee Art Museum, Mayfair Mall and The Selig Experience at Miller Park”, said Kevin O’Toole, Executive Vice President, Hunzinger Construction Company.
