Hunzinger is proud to announce that our own Frank Falsetti was given the “Most Successful Community Engagement” award at the USGBC Wisconsin‘s Transformation Awards.
Frank isn’t just our head of Business Development. He is currently serving his second term as volunteer Co-Chair of our USGBC-WI Market Leadership Advisory Board. While Frank possesses many strong leadership skills
Frank was quick to embrace sustainable building practices and has been at the forefront of transforming Southeastern Wisconsin’s construction industry as an advocate for over 14 years. He consistently connects with the external community, sharing his expertise and helping educate and train others to carry the LEED mantle onto their own projects.
This past year, Frank worked with Phil Vetterkind, Director of Sustainability, to develop “Sustainable Road Show”, this most recent “lunch and learn” focuses on LEED V4 and the multitude of services offered by USGBC-WI. He takes these presentations directly to architectural and engineering firms and has given 35 presentations to over 700 people this past year alone!
He is close to many leaders in Wisconsin’s real estate development and architectural design communities and understands the concerns, hesitation and lack of understanding of utilizing LEED for their projects. Frank has taken the fight right to them in their offices to educate and challenge them to embrace LEED and WELL and other USGBC-WI offerings.
Frank exemplifies a professional who set out to make a difference in his community by raising the bar for sustainable and LEED green construction projects in southeast Wisconsin. He sought out educational opportunities to become a learned expert in the field and has worked hard to share that knowledge with others. He is truly dedicated to making our community a better place to live, work and play not only today but for future generations.
