Building The Future Together

Hunzinger is proud to announce that three of our projects won a Top Projects of 2017 Award by The Daily Reporter.

The Miller Lite Stage Renovation and Lakefront Gateway, Miller Park Food and Beverage Reimagined and the Milwaukee Tool Phase I Expansion were honored among 50 other projects from across Wisconsin.

Nearly 700 leaders in the construction industry attended the 19th annual Top Projects event on the evening of May 17th at the Potawatomi Hotel and Casino.

The Top Projects Award is given to honor general contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers and owners whose projects exceeded expectations in 2017.

Miller Lite Stage Renovation and Lakefront Gateway

The new stage offers improved sight lines by eliminating visual obstructions for a better viewing experience. The Miller Lite Brew House is a new side stage bar that provides a covered space for patrons and exclusive beverage offerings. The renovated stage area incorporates design elements reflective of the historic Miller Brewery and Miller Valley.

Miller Park Food and Beverage Upgrade

The project spans all seating levels of the ballpark and reflects the rich architectural history of Milwaukee. Hunzinger self-performed concrete and carpentry on the project and installed state-of-the-art equipment in the permanent concession stands and portable locations to enhance the quality of the offerings. The right field side of the Loge Level hosts an “Local Brews” Bar that features 30 taps serving craft beers from across Wisconsin.

Milwaukee Tool

Hunzinger served as Construction Manager on a 200,000 sq. ft. office expansion to Milwaukee Tool’s Corporate Headquarters. The project plan was a four-story office building with a west elevated connection link between the new building and Milwaukee Tool’s adjacent existing office building.
