Building The Future Together

Robert Torres has joined Hunzinger as a Project Engineer. He comes to Hunzinger Construction after servicing 4 ½ years in the US Army and also graduating from Milwaukee School of Engineering with a degree in Construction Management.

Rob was born and raised on Long Island, New York, he joined the US Army after graduating from high school where he was a Horizontal Equipment Engineer operating machines. The Army took him primarily to the west coast, but he also completed 2 active tours. Rob worked for his brother-in-law’s luxury home building company in California while on breaks from school. Ask him about it, he has good stories. In his spare time, he likes to camp, and he enjoys overlanding or working on cars that go off road.

He is eager to get to work on the GEHC Trout Project led by Kevin Lally, Project Manager Jody Owens and Superintendent Dave Klermund. This 160,000 SF renovation includes a façade update and extensive site work at GEHC’s Pewaukee Office Campus. The project is slated to be completed in early 2025.

Welcome to the team Rob!
