At Hunzinger Construction Company, we are committed to tailoring Project Delivery Systems that suit the needs of each client. Currently, the three delivery systems most widely utilized are General Contracting, Construction Management, and Design/Build.

Regardless of the Delivery System selected, Hunzinger has a proven track record of providing quality projects on time and within budget.

General Contracting
Hunzinger has provided this traditional delivery system to thousands of clients since 1907. As general contractor, we typically work under a lump-sum contract and perform many phases of the work with our own forces. Our daily participation in the marketplace as a builder enables us to bring estimating, scheduling, and coordinating expertise to any project. Hunzinger obtains more than 50% of its work by competitive bid, thus ensuring that we maintain a finger on the pulse of the marketplace and provide competitive pricing when negotiating for General Construction services.

Construction Management
As construction manager, Hunzinger works under a professional services contract with the owner and architect-engineer to establish a management team that plans, designs, and completes each project in the most timely and cost-effective manner. Having a builder as construction manager assures the owner that there are seasoned personnel involved in all critical phases of the project - from planning, design, and pre-construction, to construction, and project close out. On many projects where Hunzinger performs as Construction Manager, we guarantee cost and schedule, and work to ensure that the owner's needs are met/delivered on time and within budget.

Design/Build
Hunzinger assembles a project team that consists of planners, designers, engineers, and contractors capable of transforming an owner's goals and objectives into a successful, completed project. The Design/Build delivery system takes the elements of General Contracting and Construction Management, and effectively combines them with design professionals in order to deliver a total package of services incorporating all specific project requirements. The Hunzinger Design/Build team assumes total responsibility for all aspects of the project, thereby providing a single point of responsibility and accountability. This delivery system allows the owner to lead a team of industry professionals that has been assembled specifically to meet the project's unique characteristics.
