FROEDTERT HOSPITAL NUCLEAR MEDICINE AND RADIOLOGY REMODEL
HealthcareFroedtert Hospital Nuclear Medicine and Radiology Remodel is located at 9200 West Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee. Hunzinger Construction Company served as the general contractor for these very intricate remodels of the existing nuclear medicine and radiology rooms to accommodate new high-tech advanced equipment. Hammel, Green and Abramson Architects (HGA) Milwaukee office served as the project designers.
The challenge of renovating these rooms was that they had to remain fully functioning throughout the typical workday to receive the steady stream of patients this busy healthcare facility sees daily. Much of our work took place at night or off hours. In order to house the new CT scanner, conduit had to be relocated and added, walls and doors had to be removed and rebuilt, and the space was finished with new casework, flooring and wall coverings. The project involved the complex and delicate rearranging of equipment until their final housings were prepared. We are proud to say that no patients were turned away or inconvenienced throughout these projects.
