Summary:

The Retzer Nature Center project included the installation of a new geothermal heating and cooling system.  This system includes 30 vertical site wells, a closed-loop piping system, infrastructure connecting the system to two existing facilities, and new ground-source heat pumps. In order to accommodate this new geothermal system, various interior facility and site modifications were performed concurrent with the major project activities. The goals of this system are to bring about long-term sustainability and efficiencies for the Retzer Nature Center.
