Hunzinger Construction is proud to have delivered Make-A-Wish Wisconsin’s wish to Kendall on #WorldWishDay Friday, April 29th. Kendall, a 7-year old girl from Cottage Grove, WI, wished for an indoor playhouse and the talented team of wish granters at Hunzinger Construction made her dream come true. The playhouse was designed by Hunzinger Project Manager and Architect Dave Dell’Agnase and the construction was led by Superintendent Pat Schoenike.
Over a two week period a number of Hunzinger staff helped to build the house. The playhouse installation crew included Dave and Pat, Kevin O’Toole, Larry Wenzel and our project management team that oversaw the recently completed 10,000 SF office space built-out for Make-A-Wish Wisconsin, Project Manager Ryan O’Toole and Superintendent Chris Brzeski.
Our history as an advocate for Make-A-Wish spans many decades and we are proud to have granted over 108 wishes! John Hunzinger, President, has served on the Board of Directors and President for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Wisconsin and has been actively involved in the mission since the 1990’s. Kevin O’Toole, Executive Vice President, has served on the Board of Directors of the Make-A-Wish Foundations of Central Florida, Wisconsin, Greater Los Angeles, Mid-Atlantic, Idaho, and Northern Nevada. He recently completed his term on the National Board of Directors of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America. Here in Wisconsin our employees are active participants in many events that are organized in support of the Make-A-Wish Foundation’s mission.
