Hunzinger Construction Company is proud to announce that Senior Project Manager Ryan O’Toole was awarded Director of the Year at The Daily Reporter’s 2017 Newsmakers of the Year awards banquet for his work at the Director of Commercial Interiors. The event took place at the Italian Community Center in Milwaukee where nearly 325 construction and design industry professionals attended to honor 32 newsmakers.
As Director of Commercial Interiors, Ryan works with clients like Master Lock, Great West Financial/Empower Retirement, Old Republic Risk Management and Make-A-Wish Wisconsin to bring their vision for their new space to life. Many of his projects are complex renovations that require almost impossible move in dates but for O’Toole, “When your client has a vision and you are able to bring that to life, it is very rewarding.”
O’Toole works with clients from start to finish and his projects include commercial, retail and living spaces. They are all fast-paced and require proactive, detailed coordination and keen team-building skills. “Teamwork is everything,” says O’Toole. “It’s all about bringing the right team together, performing well and exceeding the clients’ expectations.”
