Hunzinger and Make-A-Wish

Hunzinger Construction Company passionately supports the mission and goals of the Make-a-Wish Foundation at both the local and national level. Our history as an advocate for this very important cause spans many decades and we are proud to have successfully granted over 100 wishes!

Hunzinger’s Hunzinger's Make-A-Wish wall of stars each representing the granting of a wish and framed art work presented to Hunzinger by Make-A-Wish recipient Frank Farina (Frank was the recipient of the first wish ever granted by Hunzinger Construction Company).
Within the leadership of Hunzinger, President John Hunzinger and Executive Vice President Kevin O’Toole agree that some of their most valuable and rewarding life experiences include their volunteerism for Make-a-Wish. John has served as President and Board Member of Make-a Wish of Wisconsin while Kevin has functioned in several chapter leadership roles in both Florida and Wisconsin including Board Member and President as well as most recently assuming a leadership role as a member of the National Board of Directors.

Each year, dozens of Hunzinger employees and their families participate in the annual 5k Run/Walk for Wishes hosted at Milwaukee’s lakefront. Together, our team has successfully raised funds and volunteered time that directly brightens the lives of Make-a-Wish recipients.
