Community Involvement
Hunzinger Construction Company and its employees are proud to be leaders in supporting our community. Throughout our 103 years in business, it has always been our commitment to support our community and organizations that share our passion. Some of our community outreach efforts are listed below, if you would like to be apart of these efforts or recommend an organization to be a part of these efforts, please contact Sarah Hunzinger (shunzinger@hunzinger.com).

Every month employees have the opportunity to donate $20 to the chosen organization, Hunzinger matches all employee raised money. In exchange for donating, employees are able to wear jeans on Mondays and Fridays. To nominate your organization for our Charity Jeans Day, please contact Sarah Hunzinger (shunzinger@hunzinger.com)

Hunzinger Construction Company received the Community Star award as part of the 2011 Wisconsin Family Business of the Year Awards.
The Wisconsin Family Business of the Year Award was created to highlight and celebrate the accomplishments and contributions of family businesses that make an impact on the Wisconsin business community. Winners are chosen by an independent panel of judges from nominations solicited from family businesses in Wisconsin.

The award is sponsored by Smith and Gestland, LLP, a Madison-based CPA and consulting firm; DeWitt & Stevens SC, a Madison-based law firm; and Associated Bank. All of the sponsors are committed to helping family businesses thrive.
