Hunzinger Construction Company and it's employees are proud to be leaders in supporting our community. Throughout our 100 years in business it has always been our commitment to support our community and organizations that share our passion.
Hunzinger has been involved with the Make-A-Wish Foundation for many years and granted over 61 wishes to date. Employees at all levels take an active role in the wish granting experience. John Hunzinger, Owner and President of Hunzinger Construction, has provided leadership at many levels including serving as Chairman of the Board. Kevin O'Toole, Owner and Executive Vice President of Hunzinger Construction, has been actively involved in the leadership of the foundation serving as Chairman of the Board of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central Florida and the 2005-2006 Chairman of the Board of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Wisconsin.
In addition to the company's commitment as a whole, employees individually take an avid role in supporting the foundation. Each year employees participate in the annual "Walk-For-Wishes", in addition to many other Make-A-Wish events throughout the year.
Hunzinger has been involved with the Zink the Zebra Foundation since it's inception. John Hunzinger, President of Hunzinger Construction currently serving as President of the Zink the Zebra Foundation. John and his entire company are proud to support the foundation and it's efforts.
The Mission of Zink the Zebra is to promote the understanding and acceptance of human differences through specially created character education programs that help children and adults realize the necessity to respect and show compassion toward others.
Zink the Zebra Foundation, a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization, is dedicated to creating and implementing diversity educational programs for children to help teach them about understanding, respect, compassion, and acceptance of others. At the same time, the foundation's programs help children build self-esteem, provide diversity awareness and promote self-acceptance. By encouraging positive character development, Zink the Zebra Foundation hopes to influence a better life for our children's future and for those with actual or perceived differences.
